Some very nice diving at Cirkewwa today that saw Baracuda & a large Dentex
Visibility was around 20 - 25 meters

Today, just had two dives on the wreck of the HMS Maori!
The storm that devestated a lot of the North East coast of Malta has battered this old lady of the sea too!
She is still recognisable as the ship wreck she was, although she has collapsed more onto herself!
The centre gun turret still stands, however some more of the ribs are now missing!
The front starboard large holes which used to entice divers to venture inside have now dissapeared as that part has collapsed!
The base of the gun shell with 1941 stamped on it has dissapeared under some of the collapse & no longer visible!
However a couple of goodies have been produced from the wreckage!
Lets hope they get to stay where they are for all divers to gaze upon during their adventure with this old lady of the sea!
